On October 11, 2026, the SPC Dane R. Balcon Golf Committee will host our 12th

and final Annual SPC Dane R. Balcon Memorial Golf Tournament at the beautiful

Hyatt Hill Country Golf Club in San Antonio, TX.

SPC Dane R. Balcon was killed in action on September 5, 2007, at the age of 19 while

serving his country. In his honor, the SPC Dane R. Balcon Memorial Scholarship Fund

was established to support JROTC cadets pursuing higher education and

leadership development.

We invite your organization to support this meaningful event in one of three ways:

1. Become a Tournament Sponsor – Choose a sponsorship level that aligns with

your organization’s goals, from Presenting Sponsor to Tee Box Sponsor.

2. Donate a Raffle or Prize Item – Gift cards, merchandise, services, or experiences

enhance the tournament and support the scholarship fund.
